• Account information: email address and profile details you provide when you sign up or sign in.
• Listener activity: song requests, saved favorites, and similar in-app actions tied to your account.
• Merchandise orders: your email address, shipping address, and order details (product, quantity, order status). Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe -- we never see or store your full card number.
• Advertiser inquiries: the name, company, email, and message you submit through the Advertise contact form.
• Basic technical data: standard web request information (such as approximate location inferred from IP address) used for things like reporting current listener counts.

3. How we use it

• To operate your account and the features you use (favorites, requests, order history).
• To process and fulfil merchandise orders, and to email you an order confirmation.
• To respond to advertiser and listener inquiries.
• To keep the service secure and working as intended.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work:

• Stripe -- to process merchandise payments.
• Our email delivery provider -- to send order confirmations and respond to contact-form submissions.
• Our database and hosting providers -- to store account and order data securely.

Each of these providers only receives what it needs to perform its function for us.

5. Data retention

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active, or as needed to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

6. Your choices

You can review and update your account details from your profile. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by contacting us -- we'll action this unless we're required to retain certain records (for example, completed order records for tax/accounting purposes).

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

8. Children's privacy

Akwaaba Radio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
